Police Look Into a Theft and a Separate Burglary

The local police department is investigating a theft and a burglary.

Oelwein Police were called to the 400 block of 2nd Avenue NE at about 7:30am Saturday (Oct. 3) on the report of a theft.

And on Friday at about 8:30am, officers responded to a call in the 10 block of 5th Avenue SE to look into a report of a burglary.

No other information was released, and both cases remain under investigation.
