Police Investigating Thefts and a Vandalism in Oelwein

Oelwein Police are investigating 2 separate theft incidents.

The first was reported Monday (Feb. 12) at about 2:30pm. The Oelwein Police Department received a report of a theft from a building in the 10 block of North Frederick. Responding officers spoke with the victim, and the investigation continues.

Just after 12:30pm Wednesday (Feb. 14), Oelwein police were called to the 100 block of 4th Avenue SE on the report of a theft from a building. No other details were released.

Oelwein Police are also investigating some criminal mischief, done to a parked vehicle. The incident was reported Tuesday morning, from the 300 block of 6th Avenue NE.
