Authorities have arrested an Oelwein woman on a warrant stemming from identity theft and forgery charges.


Shortly after 7:30pm Friday (Oct. 13), Oelwein Police arrested 36 year old Jenna Rae Stubberud on a Bremer County warrant for a probation violation. The original charges were Forgery, Fraudulent Use of Credit Cards, and Identity Theft. Stubberud was taken into custody following an incident in the 400 block of 13th Avenue NW.

Oelwein Police are looking into a criminal mischief complaint. The vandalism was reported just after 8pm Friday from the 200 block of 4th Street SW.

And Oelwein Police were called out to a traffic accident involving a deer on Friday in the 1,000 block of South Frederick Avenue. A van driven by Autumn Hayes struck a deer. No injuries were reported.
