One Resident Assaults Another at NE Iowa Facility

A client of a Northeast Iowa residential home has been arrested for allegedly assaulting another client.

Shortly after 9pm Monday, the Fayette County Sheriff was alerted of an assault at the Prairie View Residential Facility, located near Fayette.

An investigation determined that 64 year old Randall Pate had assaulted another resident.

Pate was taken into custody on a charge of assault causing bodily injury, which is a serious misdemeanor.

Pate was taken to the Fayette County jail in West Union, and held until his initial court appearance.
