Oh, Deer! A Four-Legged Peeping Tom

The Decorah Police Department is investigating a peeping tom incident...involving a deer.

Last Thursday (July 25), the dispatch center apparently got the attention of a deer that was wandering around the neighborhood. When employees at the law enforcement center, located in the city of Decorah, looked out a window, they saw another pair of eyes peering back at them.

The deer seemed to want to know more about the workings of city government, because it was later located at City Hall.

The window peeping deer, dubbed "Jane Doe", escaped arrest; but the incident remains under investigation by the Decorah Police Department, and charges are pending...if officers can find a pair of handcuffs that will fit.
