Oelwein’s Head Football Coach is Leaving

The Oelwein Community School district will be looking for a new coach and teacher.

Trevor Arnold, the head football and girls basketball coach in Oelwein, has announced his resignation, to go to another school district. Arnold also teaches Physical Education in Oelwein.

Arnold's resignation for the coaching positions will take effect at the end of the school year.

Arnold is leaving to take a job at the Maquoketa Valley High School in Delhi. He will become that school's athletic director, physical education instructor for students in 8th through the 12th grade, as well as head football coach.
