Oelwein Woman Arrested for B.H. County Charges

An Oelwein woman, wanted on a warrant from Black Hawk County for several charges, has been arrested by Oelwein Police early this morning (Tuesday, Sept. 25).

At about 1am, officers from the Oelwein Police Department took 21 year old Desarae Harris into custody, in the 1300 block of West Charles Street.

Harris was wanted in Black Hawk County, on charges of Burglary 3rd Degree, Harassment, Assault Causing Injury, Criminal Mischief, and Interference with Official Acts.

No other information was released on the origin of the charges that were filed.
