Oelwein Police Report Warrant Arrests and a Theft
Oelwein Police have arrested a local man on an out-of-state warrant.
At about 5pm Monday (Oct. 7), officers took 33 year old Aaron Conway of Oelwein into custody, for a State of Georgia Department of Pardons and Parole warrant. The original charge was Aggravated Stalking.
An Oelwein man was arrested late Monday night, after police were called to a disturbance in the 400 block of South Frederick. 47 year old Carl Hernandez was charged with Public Intoxication.
Early Monday, Oelwein Police took a local man into custody for a Fayette County warrant. Shortly after 12:30am, 35 year old Kurtis Shasteen was arrested in the 10 block of 1st Street SW, for the original charge of Theft-5th Degree.
An Oelwein woman, 32 year old Shaina Boehmer, was taken into custody Saturday evening, after police were sent out to look into an incident in the 100 block of South Frederick. Boehmer was charged with Disorderly Conduct.
And the Oelwein Police Department is investigating a theft, reported Saturday evening, in the 300 block of 7th Street SE.
