The Oelwein Police Department reports some weekend arrests and citations.


Shortly after 1:30 this (Monday) morning, 39 year old Aaron Bunch of Oelwein was taken into custody on charges of violation of a no-contact order, and domestic abuse assault. The arrest was made after officers were called to a domestic disturbance in the 100 block of South Frederick.

At about 4:30am Sunday, 26 year old Raquel Neeley of Oelwein was cited for driving while her license is suspended, following a traffic stop in the 2300 block of South Frederick.

Just before 11:30pm Saturday, 33 year old Ryan Martin of Oelwein was taken into custody for possession of drug paraphernalia, after a traffic stop in the ten block of 5th Avenue NE. The Fayette County Sheriff's k-9 assisted.

At about 2:30pm Friday, police were called to a home in the 100 block of South Frederick on the report of a disturbance. 39 year old Aaron Bunch of Oelwein was arrested for violation of a domestic abuse no-contact order.

And 37 year old Clayton Siegel of Oelwein was cited for having a dog at-large in the 100 block of 5th Street NW.
