Oelwein Police Report Arrests for Domestic Abuse

Oelwein Police have arrested a local man on an assault charge.

Shortly after 12am Thursday (Oct. 11) officers were summoned to a disturbance in the 100 block of 3rd Avenue NW. After the investigation, 38 year old John Wright of Oelwein was taken into custody on a charge of Domestic Abuse Assault.

An Oelwein man was arrested on an outstanding warrant on an assault charge. 27 year old Laquay Taylor was arrested Wednesday morning, on a Dubuque County warrant for a probation violation. The original charge was Domestic Abuse Assault.
