Oelwein Police Report a Driving Violation, and Vandalism

Oelwein Police have cited a local resident, following a routine traffic stop.

At about 2:30pm Thursday (April 22) officers pulled over a car in the ten block of 8th Avenue NE. The driver, 49 year old Russell Watt of Oelwein, was given a citation for Driving While his License is Suspended.

Oelwein Police are also investigating some vandalism on the east side of town. The criminal mischief was reported at about 7:30am this morning (Friday, April 23) in the 100 block of East Charles.
