Oelwein Police have arrested 3 local men on various, unrelated charges.


Just before 2am Saturday (Feb. 8), 25 year old Matthew Stacey was taken into custody in the 10 block of 2nd Avenue NW, on charges of Possession of Methamphetamine and Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

48 year old Reid Kimball was arrested Friday evening in the 200 block of North Frederick Avenue, on 3 Fayette County warrants. The charges were Harassment-3rd Degree, Violation of a No-contact Order-Contempt, and Criminal Mischief-4th Degree.

Saturday evening, 33 year old Andrew Heth of Oelwein was taken into custody following an incident in the 200 block of 1st Avenue NW. He is charged with Domestic Abuse-2nd.

Officers have also cited 47 year old Jerry Bass of Oelwein, for Failure to Abate as Ordered, a property in the 300 block of 5th Avenue SE, stemming from an abatement served in September.
