Oelwein Police Make Arrests in Miscellaneous Incidents
Oelwein Police report several arrests Wednesday (Feb. 5) on separate, unrelated incidents.
Shortly after 2pm, 28 year old Joshua Avenson of Oelwein was taken into custody after a traffic stop in the 10 block of 1st Avenue SE. Avenson was arrested on a Fayette County Warrant on an Original charge of Driving While Barred. He was also charged with Possessing Contraband, and Driving while Barred.
At about 2:45pm, following an incident in the 200 block of 2nd Avenue NW, 30 year old Krystle Schoultz of Oelwein was arrested on a charge of Criminal Mischief-4th Degree.
Just before 10pm Wednesday, Oelwein Police pulled over a vehicle in the 100 block of 5th Avenue NE. The driver, 33 year old Anthony Ledesma of Oelwein, was charged with Driving While his License is Suspended.
And Oelwein Police are investigating some criminal mischief. The vandalism was reported at around 2:30pm Wednesday, in the 200 block of 6th Avenue SW.
