Oelwein Police Make Arrests for Assault, Drugs, Burglary
Oelwein Police have arrested a local man on an outstanding warrant, involving several charges.
At about 7:30pm Sunday (Jan. 17), 25 year old Cameron Wilson of Oelwein was taken into custody on a Fayette County Felony Bench warrant.
Wilson is being charged with Violation of a No-Contact Order, Domestic Abuse Assault, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Burglary 2nd Degree, and Eluding.
Oelwein Police took Wilson into custody after being approached for riding a bicycle on a public roadway without a light.
Oelwein authorities also report 3 arrests in separate incidents on Monday (Jan. 18).
At about 6am, the Oelwein Police Department received a report of a domestic assault in the 400 block of East Charles. 25 year old Elexander Wolf of Oelwein was arrested for Domestic Abuse Assault.
Officers were called to another domestic disturbance at about 12:30pm, at 1st Avenue and 3rd Street NE in Oelwein. 26 year old Clayton Bushaw of Oelwein was taken into custody for Domestic Abuse Assault-Serious Misdemeanor.
And at 10pm Monday, Oelwein Police arrested a Waverly man in the 2600 block of South Frederick, when they responded to a disturbance report. 31 year old Zachary Moser was wanted on an outstanding Bremer County Warrant for Domestic Assault and Violation of a No-Contact Order.
