Oelwein Police Look Into Thefts and Vandalism

Oelwein Police are investigating 2 thefts and a vandalism incident.

The theft complaints were reported to authorities Sunday night (Aug. 13) from the 800 block of East Charles, and Saturday evening from the 2600 block of South Frederick.

The criminal mischief complaint was received Saturday evening; the vandalism occurred in the 100 block of East Charles. No other information was released on the incidents.

And an Oelwein man has been arrested following a Friday night traffic stop in the 100 block of 1st Avenue SE in Oelwein. 40 year old Chad Dahl was charged with OWI-1st Offense.
