Oelwein Police Look Into Theft and Vandalism

The Oelwein Police Department is looking into reports of a theft and some vandalism Thursday (Sept. 26).

Shortly after 11am, officers were called to the 900 block of South Frederick to look into a Criminal Mischief incident.

And at about 12:45pm Thursday, police responded to a report of a theft in the 900 block of 5th Avenue SE.

No other information was released; both incidents remain under investigation.
