Oelwein Police Investigate Vandalism

Oelwein Police are looking into some vandalism on the west side of town.

Shortly after 7:30am Monday (July 22), officers were called to the 10 block of West Charles on the report of some Criminal Mischief. No other information was released, and the incident is still under investigation.

An Elgin man has been cited for a traffic offense by Oelwein Police. Officers pulled over a vehicle just before 11:30pm Monday, at 4th Street SW and South Frederick in Oelwein. The driver, 38 year old Jeremiah Bennett was cited for Driving While his License is Suspended.
