Oelwein Police File Assault Charge Against Local Woman

An Oelwein woman has been arrested on an assault charge.

At about 3pm Tuesday (Sept. 29), Oelwein Police were called out to a disturbance at a residence in the 100 block of 2nd Street NW.

After an investigation, 36 year old Alanda Starkey was taken into custody on a charge of Domestic Abuse Assault. The charge is an aggravated misdemeanor.
