Oelwein Police Cite Local Resident for Driving Offense

Oelwein Police have cited a local woman for a traffic offense during a stop Tuesday night (Nov. 13).

At about 8:30pm, officers pulled over a vehicle in the 10 block of 1st Avenue SE. During the investigation, the driver, 23 year old Kaitlyn Rathjen of Oelwein, was cited for Driving While her License is Suspended. She was also given an equipment repair order for a headlamp.

An Oelwein resident has been cited for Failure to Abate Property as Ordered. 19 year old Collin Halligan was cited Tuesday night, from a report originating on September 6th, concerning property in the 500 block of 1st Street NE.
