Oelwein Police Busy with 2 Unrelated Arrests

Oelwein Police report a couple of local arrests in separate incidents.
At about 1am today (Thursday, Dec. 15), 31 year old Joshua Chamberlain of Oelwein was taken into custody after he refused to pull over for an Oelwein Police officer during a traffic stop.

Chamberlain is charged with Driving While License Revoked, Eluding, Failure to Stop at a Stop Sign, Failure to Stop at a Flashing Red Light, and Speeding.

And shortly after 7:30pm Wednesday (Dec. 14), while officers were in the process of attempting to serve a civil paper in the 500 block of 3rd Avenue NW, they arrested 35 year old Justin Schoultz of Oelwein on a charge of Violation of a No-Contact Order.
