Oelwein Police Arrest Local Woman, Plus Investigate Theft

Oelwein Police have arrested a local woman on a driving violation.

On Tuesday (April 3) at about 2:45pm, Oelwein officers pulled over a vehicle in the 10 block of 1st Avenue SW in Oelwein. Following an investigation, 32 year old Jennifer Hall of Oelwein was taken into custody on a charge of Driving While License is Suspended, which is a Simple Misdemeanor.

Authorities are looking into a theft that was reported just before 10am Tuesday. The incident happened in the 100 block of 8th Avenue NE in Oelwein. No other information was released.
