Oelwein Police Arrest Local Woman on Warrant for Assault

A local woman has been arrested on an outstanding warrant, concerning an assault.

Shortly after 4:30pm Monday (June 8), Oelwein Police were called to a disturbance in the 500 block of 5th Avenue NE in Oelwein.

Officers took 28 year old Jessica Buhr of Oelwein into custody, on a Fayette County Sheriff's warrant, on the original charge of Assault on Persons of a Certain Occupation, and Interference with Official Acts.
