Oelwein Police Arrest Local Woman on B.H. County Warrant
Oelwein Police have arrested a local woman on a warrant from Black Hawk County.
At about 4:30pm Monday (Dec. 3), officers checked a residence in the 100 block of 3rd Avenue NW for 18 year old Marissa Woods of Oelwein, wanted on a warrant for Assault-Willfully Causing Serious Injury.
Oelwein Police are investigating a car theft. Authorities received a report Saturday evening, of a 2002 Ford Focus taken from a residence in the 100 block of 3rd Avenue NW.
A theft was reported to Oelwein Police Saturday afternoon. The theft was called in to police from the 100 block of 1st Avenue SE. The incident is under investigation.
A local woman has been cited following a traffic stop late Friday afternoon. A vehicle driven by 35 year old Jade Nuehring of Oelwein was pulled over in the 600 block of 1st Street NW. Nuehring was charged with Driving While her License is Suspended.
Officers were called out Friday afternoon to the 10 block of North Frederick in Oelwein, where a vehicle ran into a pole. Responding police arrested 55 year old Wendy Henderson of Oelwein on a charge of 1st Offense OWI.
And an Oelwein resident has been cited for Failure to Abate Property as Ordered in the 10 block of 3rd Street NW. The owner of the property, 39 year old Christian Kapler, was cited Friday.
