Oelwein Police Arrest Local People on Various Charges

The Oelwein Police Department reports some arrests from over the weekend.

On Sunday (Jan. 19) officers were called to a disturbance at a home in the 200 block of 2nd Street SE. There they arrested 44 year old Henry Markin of Oelwein, on a charge of Interference with Official Acts.

Just before 4am Saturday, Oelwein Police took 33 year old Ashley Bolton of Oelwein into custody in the 400 block of South Frederick. She was charged with Public Intoxication.

And 31 year old Jason Burkey of Oelwein turned himself in to police Saturday morning, for a Fayette County warrant, with original charges of Child Endangerment, and Simple Assault.
