An Oelwein man has been arrested on an outstanding warrant, concerning a September robbery.

29 year old Zachary Moser was taken into custody Saturday morning (Oct. 27) by Oelwein Police. Moser had a Fayette County warrant, with an original Oelwein Police Department charge of Robbery-2nd Degree. The arrest was based on charges from an incident that happened September 22nd of this year.

The Oelwein Police Department is investigating two incidents of theft, and one of burglary, that were reported on Friday morning. The first incident was a burglary in the 10 block of 5th Avenue SW.

Then just before noon, police received a report of a theft in the 1700 block of South Frederick. Less than 2 hours later, another theft was reported in the 2600 block of South Frederick. No other information was released.
