Oelwein Police Arrest 2 in Separate Incidents

An Oelwein man has been arrested on a driving violation.

At about 8:30am Wednesday (April 4), Oelwein Police took 54 year old Daniel Wrice into custody on a charge of Driving While his License is Barred. The arrest was made after an incident in the 10 block of East Charles Street.

Oelwein Police have also arrested an Oelwein woman on a charge of Theft-5th Degree. 34 year old Malenda McClurg was taken into custody at about 11am Wednesday, after an incident in the 100 block of South Frederick Avenue.

And Oelwein Police are investigating a theft. The incident was reported just after 9pm Wednesday, in the 100 block of 1st Street SE in Oelwein. No other information was released.
