Oelwein Police Arrest 2, and Investigate a Theft
The Oelwein Police Department is investigating a theft.
The incident was reported shortly after 12pm Sunday (Jan. 28) from the 100 block of 5th Street NW. No other details were released on the theft complaint.
An Oelwein woman has been arrested on an outstanding warrant. At about 4pm Saturday, 36 year old Jenna Rae Stubberud was taken into custody in the 400 block of 13th Avenue NW. Stubberud was wanted on a Bremer County warrant for a probation violation. The original charge was Theft. Plus a second Bremer County warrant for Failure to Appear.
And a local man was taken into custody on a violation of a court order. At about 11pm Friday, Oelwein Police were called to the 100 block of South Frederick on the report of a possible violation of a no-contact order. 51 year old David Nuehring of Oelwein was arrested for two counts of a Violation of a Domestic Abuse No Contact Order.
