An Oelwein man has been arrested on an outstanding warrant.

Shortly after 8pm Wednesday (May 29), 29 year old Zachary Moser was taken into custody after an interaction with a police officer in the 10 block of 2nd Avenue NW. Moser was wanted on a Buchanan County warrant for Failure to Appear, on an original charge of Driving While Suspended.

An Oelwein resident has been cited for not getting rid of garbage on their property. At about 6pm Wednesday, Oelwein Police cited 35 year old Lindsey Rocha for Failure to Abate Property-Accumulation of Garbage, for a property in the 10 block of 6th Avenue NE. The incident originated on January 16th of 2019.
