Oelwein Man Arrested for Sex Offender Registry Violation

Oelwein Police have arrested a local man on a warrant pertaining to the state sex offender registry, and a drug count.

At about 8pm Monday (Feb. 8), 34 year old Dakota Curtis of Oelwein was taken into custody for a Linn County Warrant, for Violation of the Sex Offender Registry.

Oelwein Police also charged Curtis with Possession of a Controlled Substance-Marijuana.
