Oelwein Man Arrested for Alleged Assault

An Oelwein man has been arrested for assault and other charges.
Oelwein Police were called out shortly after 6pm Tuesday to a disturbance in the 100 block of 13th Avenue SE.

39 year old James Rhea was taken into custody for simple assault, interference with official acts, and criminal mischief-5th degree. All of the charges are simple misdemeanors.
