Oelwein Man Arrested for 2 Clayton Co. Warrants

An Oelwein man has been arrested on warrants for theft and possessing a gun.

At about 11am Tuesday (Feb. 4), Oelwein Police took 23 year old Matthew Prine into custody on 2 Clayton County warrants. Prine was arrested after interacting with a police officer in the 300 block of 6th Street SW in Oelwein.

The warrants were for the original charges of Theft-2nd Degree, and Being a Felon in Possession of a Firearm.
