Oelwein Man Arrested After Fight

An Oelwein man has been arrested following a fight near downtown Oelwein.

Oelwein Police were called out shortly after 10pm Tuesday (Aug. 27) to the 10 block of 1st Avenue SE, on the report of an altercation.

Arriving officers took 21 year old Isiah Heidt of Oelwein into custody, on charges of Disorderly Conduct, and Public Intoxication, which are simple misdemeanors.
