Oelwein Man Arrested After Disturbance

An Oelwein man has been arrested early this morning (Monday, Aug. 5) on the southeast side of town.

Just before 12:30am, Oelwein Police were called out on the report of a disturbance in the 200 block of 2nd Avenue SE. 28 year old Atonio Oaks was taken into custody on charges of Disorderly Conduct, and Criminal Mischief-5th Degree.

Oelwein Police arrested a local man after investigating an incident in the 300 block of 8th Avenue NE. Just before 6pm Friday, 36 year old Christopher Becker was arrested on a charge of Domestic Abuse Assault.

At about 8pm Friday, 37 year old Christopher Bormann of Oelwein turned himself in to police on a Fayette County warrant, for Disorderly Conduct.
