Oelwein Authorities Arrest Local Woman For a Theft

Oelwein Police have arrested a local woman on a theft charge.

They made the arrest following an incident on Thursday (July 19) shortly after 3:30pm, in the 1300 block of South Frederick. 66 year old Kathleen Boies of Oelwein faces a charge of Theft-5th Degree.

Oelwein Police are also investigating a theft, reported just after 4pm Thursday, in the 2100 block of South Frederick. A report was taken, and authorities continue to investigate.
