Oelwein Arrests on Outstanding Warrants

An Oelwein woman has been taken into custody on outstanding warrants.

At about 6:30pm Saturday (Oct. 21), Oelwein Police arrested 23 year old Mykala Meike on two Fayette County warrants, on original charges of Child Endangerment, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Meike was arrested after interacting with a police officer in the 500 block of Rock Island Road.

An Oelwein man has also been arrested on multiple Fayette County warrants, for Probation Violation and Failure to Appear. 35 year old Joshua Levendusky was taken into custody Saturday afternoon, in the 300 block of 6th Street NE.

And Oelwein Police are investigating some vandalism. Shortly after 8am Saturday, dispatch received a call reporting criminal mischief in the 300 block of 8th Avenue SE.
