A northwest Iowa man who purchased a Powerball ticket that turned out to be worth $1,000,000 (yep, that's one million bucks) claimed his prize on Monday.

Shane Saxen told Iowa Lottery officials that like many of us, he usually doesn't buy a national lottery ticket until the jackpot's really high. But it's a good thing he broke his own rule because the ticket he bought at a Brew convenience store matched five of the numbers drawn Saturday but missed only the Powerball number.
