
NE Iowa Woman Surrenders to Police for Drug Warrant
A Nashua woman, arrested after a traffic stop near Westgate, faces more charges after authorities found drugs in her vehicle during a search.
On Saturday (Jan. 25th), deputies pulled over a vehicle driven by 44 year old Teresa Forbes, who had allegedly been driving while her license was revoked. She was also charged with possession of prescription pills without a prescription, and other violations.
On Sunday, the Fayette County Sheriff obtained a warrant to search her vehicle, finding drugs and paraphernalia.
At about 9pm Wednesday (Jan. 29), Forbes turned herself into the Oelwein Police Department, on 2 Fayette County warrants for Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
A passenger in her vehicle, 53 year old Donald Johll of Waterloo, was taken into custody Saturday for a Fayette County warrant for Failure to Appear on a Trespass Charge.
