NE Iowa Woman Arrested for Assault in Her Home

A Northeast Iowa woman has been arrested on an assault charge.

The incident happened at about 8:30pm Monday, when the Fayette County Sheriff was notified of an assault in progress at a rural Elgin residence.

When officers arrived, they determined that 62 year old Dianne Fink of Elgin had allegedly assaulted another woman at her home.

Fink was arrested on a charge of assault, a simple misdemeanor; she was taken to the Fayette County jail in West Union, to be held until her initial court appearance.
