A Northeast Iowa teenage driver escaped serious injuries, but his car didn't fare very well, after he crashed it into a creek

The accident happened at about 6:45am Saturday (March 11), on Quandahl Road, near Highlandville.

According to the Winneshiek County Sheriff, 19 year old Spencer Bulman of Decorah was driving east, when he lost control of his car. The vehicle went into a ditch, hit an embankment, and entered a creek.

No ambulance was needed.

Bulman's 2007 Buick Lucerne had $15,000 in damage.
