NE Iowa Motorist Arrested for 2nd OWI

A West Union woman has been arrested early this (Wednesday) morning, for driving under the influence.

At about 4am, a Fayette County deputy stopped a car for traveling on the wrong side of a highway.

Following an investigation, the driver, 21 year old Madison Vagts, was arrested and charged with owi second offense, and driving on the wrong side of a two-lane road.

Vagts was subsequently taken to the Fayette County jail in West union, to appear before a magistrate.
