An Ionia man has died from injuries he sustained in a two-vehicle accident in Mitchell County.

According to the Iowa State Patrol, it happened Monday evening, just after 7:30pm, at the intersection of Highway 9 and Balsam Avenue, west of Osage.

A pickup driven by 24 year old Garrett Bormann of Ionia, failed to stop at the stop sign, and collided broadside with a car driven by 61 year old Kenneth Jahncke of Osage.
