NE Iowa Driver Faces OWI in Weekend Stop

A Strawberry Point man has been arrested for allegedly driving drunk in Maynard.

At about 3:30am Sunday (May 19), a Fayette County Deputy stopped a truck for a traffic violation in the 200 block of 1st Street South.

Following an investigation, the driver, 31 year old Nolan Henderson was taken into custody on charges of Operating While Intoxicated-1st Offense, and Open Container.

He was held in the Fayette County jail until his appearance before a judge.
