Name Released of Area Man Killed Along Highway 20

Authorities have released the name of a Northeast Iowa man who was run over and killed while walking along Highway 20.

The accident happened shortly after 11:30pm Saturday (Feb. 25), near the Peosta exit in Dubuque County.

A car driven by 24 year old Angela Young of Cuba City, Wisconsin, was eastbound on 20, when she struck and killed a pedestrian in the roadway.

The victim has now been identified as 34 year old Jason Ehlers of Dubuque.

Ehlers was reportedly wearing dark clothing at the time. No reason was given on why he was walking along the highway.
