
Motorcyclist Has Life-Threatening Injuries in Linn County Accident
An Eastern Iowa motorcyclist is in the hospital with serious injuries, following a crash in Linn County.
It happened at about 10:30pm Friday (July 31) near the intersection of Highways 100 and 13 on the south end of Marion.
46 year old Mark Meyer of Solon was riding his bike east on Highway 100, when he lost control and went down on the pavement.
Meyer was taken by Lifeguard Air Ambulance to University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City, with what appeared to be life-threatening injuries.
The accident is still under investigation by the Linn County Sheriff.
