More Charges Filed for Arriving Drunk at Jail

A Northeast Iowa man faces additional charges, after arriving drunk to do jail time.

The incident happened Saturday (Oct. 13) at about 8am at the Winneshiek County jail in Decorah. 58 year old Alan Kovarik of Spillville reported to jail to serve his sentenced jail time. According to the Winneshiek County Sheriff, Kovarik was intoxicated at the time.

He was arrested and booked into jail on a charge of Public Intoxication.
