Monday Morning Fire in Walker Started By Heater
Authorities are investigating a fire that damaged a home in Walker, Monday morning.
The Linn County Sheriff received a call shortly after 10:30am Monday (June 28), of a structure fire at 617 Pershing Street in Walker.

The blaze was on property owned by Bernice Bellach. She was not injured.
The fire apparently started in a back bedroom, when a heater fell over, and caught fire.
The house sustained only minor fire and smoke damage. The blaze is being investigated by the Linn County Sheriff's Office.
