An investigation into the report of a missing juvenile, has resulted in an arrest for illegal drugs.

At about 6:45pm Saturday (Nov. 7), the Fayette County sheriff received a tip that a juvenile, who had been reported missing, was hiding at a home in rural Waucoma.
Witnesses also reported that there was possible drug use at the home, located at 25012 "Y" Avenue in rural Waucoma.

Responding deputies found a 16 year old juvenile at the residence, who had been reported missing from Chickasaw County. The juvenile had illegal substances and drug paraphernalia in his possession.

After conducting several interviews, deputies arrested Lisa Jo Sims of Waucoma, on a charge of Contributing Illegal Substances to a Minor. Sims was held in the Fayette County jail on $25,000 cash bond.

The juvenile was released to a guardian. The case remains under investigation and more charges may be filed.

The Fayette County Sheriff was assisted by the Chickasaw County Sheriff's Office.
