Man Shot in Stomach in Dubuque, No Arrests Yet

Dubuque police are investigating a shooting that put one man in the hospital.

Authorities were called out at about 6pm Tuesday, to the 1800 block of Central Avenue, where a man had sustained a gunshot wound to his stomach. He was taken to a local hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Officers canvassed the area, and executed a search warrant, but no arrests have been reported yet. The victim told police that he does not know the assailant.
