Man Seriously Hurt in Allamakee Co. Motorcycle Accident

A weekend motorcycle accident in Allamakee County, has put a New Hampton man in the hospital.

About 3:45pm Saturday, the Allamakee County Sheriff was called out to investigate the accident on Highway 76.

The driver, 45 year old Chad Miller of New Hampton failed to make a curve on the road with his motorcycle. Miller traveled into the ditch, and was ejected off the bike.

Miller was taken to the Waukon hospital to be treated for serious injuries; he was later airlifted to Gunderson Lutheran Hospital in La Crosse, Wisconsin.

The accident remains under investigation by the Allamakee County Sheriff's Office.
