Man Sentenced to Prison For Child Sexual Exploitation
A young Southwest Wisconsin man, accused of sexually exploiting a young child in Northeast Iowa, has been sentenced to 25 years in federal prison.
20 year old Caleb Durr of Hazel Green, Wisconsin, had pleaded guilty to a charge of sexual exploitation of a child. Durr is accused of using a smart phone to make sexually explicit pictures of an 8 year old girl in Dubuque.
Durr is also accused of sexually exploiting another child, along with possessing child pornography.
Durr pleaded guilty in August of 2020. He was sentenced in federal court in Cedar Rapids, to 300 months in a federal prison, assessed $100, and ordered to serve five years of supervision after he is released from prison.
The incidents were investigated by the Dubuque Police Department, Waterloo Police Department, and Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation.
